Since 1982, WAND has been giving women a seat at the tables of power where important policies about peace and security get made. We've been empowering women to stand up, speak out, and take action on vital issues that affect our lives: nuclear weapons, federal budget, social programs.

We believe that women have a lot to say, and that our perspective is different and vital to a healthy future for all of us. And we've established our voices as sensible, powerful, and intelligent. We have made a difference.

As we turn 25, we want to celebrate both our history -- and our future. We hope you'll bring women to your table of power!

We invite you to pull up a seat, sit down, and have your say. We hope you will bring together women you know and respect, and give them a seat -- at a picnic table, a dinner table, a potluck buffet, or a Sunday brunch.

This is just the beginning. We'll start by engaging in conversation about the issues of the day, and we'll make plans about how to move forward -- toward peace and security, and away from war.
