Notes from Jennifer Iliana Ortiz, WAND's new Field Outreach Associate, after her trip to DC in April 2005

The STAND and DC Chapter meeting was so great. Lane Stone and Dianne Jones and several other DC WAND members attended this meeting. Both the Baltimore STAND women and our Chapter introduced themselves and we discussed different ways in which STAND and our Chapter can support each other. We also defined our Action Plan for the year which will be attached to this report...

I felt a great energy during and at the end of our meeting. Delegate Marriot dropped by during the meeting and all the STAND women ran up to her and hugged and kissed her. She has a very positive relationship with all the women.
