Two

joined members of the National Council of Jewish
Women/Greater Detroit Section to lobby in Senator
Carl Levin's office in Detroit on Feb. 28. They
discussed corrections to the No Child Left Behind

The
beary clever WAND folks in OR turned out in
great numbers for the Eugene Celebration Parade.
WAND had a Circus car in the Peace Train,
with the message 'Free All Beings from Nuclear

a luncheon -- and a great groundbreaking
of the Beacon of Peace and Hope.

Atlanta:
Quilts for Peace | May 2006
In
2002, Judy Meeker visited Atlanta WAND and
inspired members to make squares which she
then fashioned into a quilt. The quilts
are on display now. Bobbie Paul, WAND Atlanta
executive director, says, "it seems
right to think about women working for peace
during the past four years."
