Hill Day
When
you come to Washington DC for the conference, you
will enjoy a great opportunity: WiLL and
WAND will guide you through the process of visiting
your Members of Congress. This is your chance to keep
your elected officials accountable for protecting
the future of our country.
During
the course of the conference, you will have the chance
to meet women from your state; you will get together
with them as you visit your Members of Congress. And
you will enjoy a Congressional luncheon in the Longworth
House building.
TUESDAY, October 2: Capitol Hill Day
8:00–8:45am:
Rise and shine! Wake up and boost your energy at a
Capitol Hill breakfast with an inspiring speech by
a Member of Congress.
9:00am–5:00pm:
Put all the information and skills you have learned
at our conference to use as you lobby your Congressional
Delegation.
11:00am–3:00pm:
Take a break from meetings and attend a luncheon at
the Rayburn House Office Building
in the U.S. Capitol.
