You
must be registered in order to vote. IF
YOU HAVE MOVED from your voting locality or changed
your name, you MUST re-register.
Registration
allows you to vote in the appropriate party primary
and in the general election.
The
voter registration process:
Certain
eligibility requirements are common to all states,
and some are state-specific. For information on the
requirements and process for registration in your

How
to register online
In person
Voter registration forms can be
obtained from locations such as public libraries,
schools, state agencies, Department of Motor Vehicles,
city hall, and voter registration drives in your state.
By mail
Contact your local Election Official
to have a registration form mailed to you in time
to meet the registration deadline.
When
to register
The
deadline for registration ranges from 10-30 days before
the election, depending on where you live.
