March
for Freedom of Choice
Save Women's Lives | April 25,
2004
Dozens
of WAND members join over a million people to speak
out for choice and women's lives.
WAND
was thrilled to gather dozens of members and friends
on Sunday morning, April 25 to join the massive March
for Choice on the mall in Washington, DC. Below are
just a few snapshots that capture some of the energy
and good will that was in the air that day.
(Thanks
to Pan Godchaux and Edie Allen for the photos!)

Here
we see WiLL President Rep. Nan Grogan Orrock; WAND
National Board members Suleyken Walker and Hon. Dorothy
Rupert; and WiLL staffer Erin Gould wearing their
WAND finery at the March.

WAND
Chair, Hon. Patricia (Pan) Godchaux and WAND Executive
Director Susan Shaer were officially labeled Honored
Guests at the march.

Former
(but still beloved) WAND/WiLL staffer Erica Swanson
(center) donned the garb of Ms. Liberty and marched
with WREI (Women’s Research & Education
Institute) Congressional Fellows.
