This year we are having a different kind of celebration, one suited to the urgency of our times: a chance for family and friends to raise our voices together in reaffirmation of our values. The evening will be a lively public event in keeping with our rich history and bright future of empowering women to stand up, speak out, and act politically on the peace and security issues that affect our lives; nuclear weapons, militarism, the federal budget, social and environmental needs.
