    September 11th Families for Peaceful Tomorrows invites you to Commemorate September 11 with Circles of Hope

    Join us in creating Circles of Hope to commemorate the 2-year anniversary of our loved ones deaths on September 11. We plan to encircle the World Trade Center site with a candlelight vigil on the night of September 10, 2003. Gather with us in New York City or create a Circle of Hope candlelight vigil in your own community and register it on our website Peaceful Tomorrows.

    WAND is supporting the efforts of colleagues Institute for Policy Studies and National Priorities Project in their fall 10-city tour of Ohio, Michigan, and Pennsylvania with Harry Belefonte. INFO: www.ips-dc.org

    The goal of this series is threefold: 1) to join with community leaders, activists and national leaders to train and further empower citizens in low-income communities to achieve positive policy changes to increase quality of life in their communities. 2) To assist in voter registration and public education of disaffected groups of people who statistically tend not to vote in presidential elections. 3) To bring a local and national media spotlight to bear on the critical issues of income inequality, failed public policies, skewed national priorities and the issues of war, peace and security.
