On 3/26, Horizon Theatre performed Tony Kushner’s "Homebody Kabul"
to benefit Atlanta WAND and served up an incredible feast of theatre
and production. "Homebody Kabul" tells the story of "homebody" in
London aching to escape her staid life by walking into the adventure
of pre-9/11 Afghanistan, and her daughter and husband's quest into
her new world. An extremely prophetic play written in 1998.

in pulling Easter baskets with toy weapons and grenades from the shelves
of Rite Aid! After LCW Minute Women sent over 200 postcards and contacted
the media, including the Eugene Register Guard, the manager of Rite Aid pulled
the baskets before attending a meeting requested by the Minute Women!
