Contributions Coordinator / Officer Manager
Center for Arms Control and Non-Proliferation and Council for a Livable World

Contributions Coordinator: The Council for a Livable World endorses and raises money for approximately 50 pro-arms control political candidates every election cycle. The Contribution Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all contributions received during the election are routed to the correct candidate or fund and recorded correctly and in a timely manner. They will ensure that all contributions to the organization are deposited, that candidate checks are amassed and sent to campaigns, that credit card contributions are processed and the information is sent to campaigns and that all contributions are recorded in our database. They will be responsible for keeping the information in the database current and correct. Furthermore, they will prepare FEC files to send to our FEC specialist for review. They will also prepare and mail Thank-You letters and Pledge Reminders and contact constituents who have sent in contributions we cannot process.

Office Manager: Ensure the smooth operation of the offices at 322 4th St. NE. This includes, but is not limited to, the purchase and distribution of office supplies, maintenance of printers, fax machines and photocopy machines, scheduling of the conference room, and dealing with contractors for the physical maintenance of the building.

Salary is dependent on experience and includes a full benefits package.

WAND Atlanta Office
WAND in Atlanta, Georgia is looking for interns for our office. Duties include assisting our staff with special projects, fundraising events, administrative tasks, data entry, membership support, research and the day to day functioning of the office. Applicants should be fun, hard working and either recently graduated from college or currently in college.

WAND DC Office
WAND in Washington DC is looking for interns for our Capitol Hill office. Interns help with legislative events, activities, and campaigns, outreach to our WiLL (Women Legislators Lobby) and WAND members. Interns will help prepare for our national conference in October 2009. Interns also assist with research and writing on WAND issues and assist in various administrative tasks for all DC staff.
