Oregon WAND - MILLION MOM MARCH
Mothers Day - Sunday May 10, 2:30 PM
EWEB Plaza 500 EAST 4TH AVENUE EUGENE

WAND will offer an opportunity for marchers to experience our country's federal budget priorities one step at a time! Over half of our discretionary budget is devoted to military expenditure. Does this emphasis contribute to a culture of violence?

Walkers will contemplate that question as they march from the EWEB Fountain Plaza, 500 E. 4th St. Eugene, to the Rose Garden and receive information from WAND along the way. Pie served at the finish line. Celebrate Mother's Day this year by taking action for a new direction in our country's spending habits!

CONTACT: Elizabeth Steffensen, mmm@efn.org, 541.344-9343
Bring family, friends and a pie to share at the conclusion of a one-mile walk to Owen Rose Garden
Sponsors: League of Women Voters of Lane County, WAND, Lane County Democratic Party Peace Caucus
