10:00 am Tallahassee, Fl Multi-Day Event
Festival and march on Saturday, 10am-8pm, vigil at Old Capitol building on Sunday, time TBD.
Events start in Ponce DeLeon Park, downtown at 10am. Information table, props and small actions will go on all day. We plan to have music, speakers and things to do all day. The day will end with a short walk (on sidewalks) to the front of the Capitol Bldg. From there event attendees can cross the road and leave flowers and messages at the Viet Nam Vets memorial across the street. The following day we will hold a vigil in front of the Old Capitol bldg. We will read the names of the fallen and some Iraqi citizens who have been murdered in this war. Times for the Sunday vigil have not been decided yet.

Weekly Peace Vigil to Protest the US War in Iraq
Every Friday at 4:00 p.m.

The Helena Peace Seekers has resumed its Friday afternoon Peace Vigil to protest the war in Iraq and the Iraqi civilian deaths in the past 18 months (at least 100,000 as reported October 29) and the civilians killed recently in Fallujah (at least 800 according to the International Red Cross).
Join us every Friday afternoon for a peaceful demonstration of solidarity and hope.

A North Fork People of Conscience fundraising event.
In addition to "Honor the Fallen," a memorial displaying over 100 photographic panels showing the faces and bios of US soldiers killed in Iraq and Afghanistan, the program includes the documentary: "Occupation: Dreamland," a short film by a North Fork high school student, speakers and the sale of t-shirts designed by EEAC members. Michael Harmon from IVAW will speak about his experiences in Iraq.  Funds raised will allow us to continue updating and producing the growing number of Memorial panels.

For over three years, Quakers and others have been silent vigils for peace on the West Lawn of the Capitol in Washington. This is not a demonstration, or a protest. We stand in silent witness for peace for one hour each Saturday. On March 18th, please come join them as the third anniversary of the tragic War on Iraq passes. Please bring no signs or banners, but do bring yourselves, and your hopes for peace.  Look for the simple blue banner, "Seek Peace and Pursue It" Ps. 34:14.
