is reaching out across the country to raise awareness
of our nation’s checkbook: our money, our priorities.
We are talking with elected officials (state and local),
students, churches, and the media.
We
believe that the Great American Pie Campaign will
give citizens a vital lens through which to assess
candidates and engage elected officials. We
feel that this outreach is particularly important
in this election year—a potentially transformative
time in our history.
