Jo
Carson, an attorney and college instructor,
is a former Arkansas state legislator.
She holds a BA in Communication and
has provided consultant services to
elected officials, businesses and organizations
across the nation. Recognized by the
media, her colleagues and constituents
as one of Arkansas's top legislators
and a national pacesetter for Southern
legislators, Jo is known for her progressive
and effective "systems" approach
to governing.
A
dynamic, humorous and incisive speaker,
Jo resides in Fort Smith, AR, just down
the road from Judge Issac C Parker's
gallows with her husband, Doug, and
two sons. Those gallows are her personal
reminder of how far we've come and how
far we have to go to put a lot more
distance between us and Judge Parker's
idea of justice and the worth of human
beings.
