Tamra Edwards is the CEO/President of T-Mae Business Consultants International, headquartered in Durham, North Carolina. She works for the YMCA of the Triangle Area holding an Associate Vice president of Community/Finance Development position for four years before leaving to start her own business and served two terms as City Council member of Durham.

Over the past twelve years Tamra has worked in the areas of neighborhood revitalization, economic, financial and community development. In addition, she received numerous speaking invitations throughout the nation addressing diversity expressing the need to appreciate and understand the cultural differences of everyone and to celebrate the unique and individual gifts that we all have to contribute to society as a whole. She has received various awards highlighting her community/advocacy achievements and was featured in the North Carolina May 2002 issue of "Our State Magazine," highlighting her leadership and program development skills in working with critical at-risk youth through the power of faith, love and understanding.
