Before serving five terms in the MA House of Representatives ('83-'93). Barbara Hildt was an educator and community activist She was a founder of WiLL and ran for Congress in '92. Barbara is a specialist in violence prevention and youth development. She is the founder of Youth Empowerment Services, a non-profit dedicated to teaching peaceable relationship skills and developing peaceable youth leaders.
Believing that young people must be encouraged and given skills to take leadership in changing the culture that accepts violence and war, she is a strong supporter of STAND.
