As a member of WiLL and an elected official, you have a unique voice to bring to policy debates. WiLL members have passed resolutions on issues ranging from the federal budget to nuclear waste transportation, held hearings on environmental, health, and social justice issues, published articles, spoken out at public meetings and forums, written letters to Congress, and joined constituents in visits with other elected officials to.

Hundreds of women state legislators sign onto letter to Congress about federal budget priorities
WiLL honorary co-chairs Congresswomen Barbara Lee (CA) and Jan Schakowsky (IL) circulated the letter to every Member of Congress on March 10, 2008.

Our efforts help STOP the move to "unsign" a major international treaty against nuclear testing
WiLL sprang into action in late June 2006 to head off a Senate amendment which would have sent U.S. foreign policy back to the Cold War.
