Thank you for your interest in working with WAND.
WAND is committed to hiring a diverse, productive, and innovative workforce. We foster an inclusive environment where fresh ideas are valued and changing the status quo is a must. We are a small group of quick-thinking and outgoing women (learn more about us here) who are dedicated to raising awareness and advocating for change in the nuclear and defense spending domains.
We read every cover letter and review every resume.
So tell us why you think you'd be a good fit and we'll get back to you ASAP!
WAND interns support Women Legislators' Lobby (WiLL) and WAND's programmatic work on nuclear weapons policy, defense legislation, as well as other administrative tasks. Internship experiences are designed to meet the organization's needs at the time while lifting up the strengths of each individual.
The summer internship application period is now closed. Check back in December.
Twice yearly, the Fellowship’s Board of Directors selects a small group of outstanding individuals to spend six months in Washington. Supported by a monthly stipend, the fellows serve as full-time project assistants at the participating organization of their choice. More information, including information about the application cycle, is available at the Scoville Website.
