EN VOZ ALTA
En Voz Alta pairs Latina mentors and allies from the peace and security community with early-career professionals and students in undergraduate or graduate school in the U.S for a full calendar year program.
Based on mentees’ expressed career goals and interests, their mentor will help them visualize their studies and early career. Additional programming will be geared to support their professional development.

We accept applications on a rolling basis. We do our best to pair all qualified applicants. New program participants will be evaluated in the Fall of 2022 for 2023 program.
Mentee requirements

Identify as Hispanic/Latina/Latin American

Recent or current undergraduate or graduate student studying international relations, national security, government, or related field

Can commit to regular meetings with your mentor a from January to December 2023
Mentor requirements

Interested in supporting young professionals and committed to lifting up voices of underrepresented populations in peace and security

Can commit to regular meetings with a mentee from January to December

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Mentees have the opportunity to hone their skills through professional development workshops. And, mentors get a chance to lead a session of their choice and lend advice to the wider cohort. Each slate of workshops is crafted based on mentee interest and mentor availability.

CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION
A certificate of completion will be awarded to mentees that meet program participation and attendance goals throughout the year for the following activities:
