Campaign Status

On January 17, 2019 Assemblywoman Nancy Pinkin (District 18) introduced Assembly Resolutions 216  which"Urges Congress to pass 'Restricting First Use of Nuclear Weapons Act of 2017.'" The resolution was referred to the Assembly Homeland Security and State Preparedness Committee. 

On March 5, 2019 Assemblywoman Pinkin joined Asm. Zwicker and Asm. Freiman in introducing Assembly Resolution 230 which urges federal government to ratify Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons and pursue other measures to reduce danger of nuclear war. It was adopted by the NJ General Assembly on May 23!

Assemblywoman Nancy Pinkin was elected to the Assembly in 2014 and runs her own 

healthcare and association management consulting firm and has an extensive background in healthcare administration. She received an associates degree from Middlesex County College in Applied Science, a Bachelor of Science degree from Rutgers University, and holds a Master of Public Administration with a specialization in health administration from New York University.  The Assemblywoman is a member of community organizations including serving as a Girl Scout leader, citizenship badge instructor for Boy Scouts, and Friends of the Environment. 

 

Pinkin serves in the Assembly on the Health and Senior Services Committee, the Law and Public Safety Committee and as Chair of the Environment and Solid Waste Committee
