WAND at the 2017 Women’s March on Washington

WAND members are marching today in the Women's March on Washington and in sister marches across the nation, including Boston, Oregon, Minnesota, and many others! If you can't join the Women's March or any of the sister marches, you can still join in!

Watch on YouTube, Facebook live, or Periscope!

You can share your stories and follow WAND's involvement on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. Our press statement on today's march can be found here.

WAND is proud to be an official partner of the Women’s March on Washington and is spearheading an effort to raise visibility of nuclear weapons dangers at the march! Join us as we march in solidarity for "Women for the Human Race, Not a New Arms Race." See details below!

Women have a long history of opposing dangerous nuclear weapons policies. Women Strike for Peace (WSP) and the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF) led movements throughout the Cold War. Let’s carry this legacy into the next generation.

In the Nation’s Capital:

Join WAND, Global Zero, Peace Action, Win Without War, Union of Concerned Scientists, Citizens for Global Solution, and hundreds of activists!

RSVP for "Women for the Human Race, Not a New Arms Race" here!

Details: Meet at 9 AM at The Spirit of Justice Park, Corner of New Jersey Ave. and C St. SE. (Steps from Capitol South Metro). We will walk to the march starting point (Independence Ave. and 3rd St. SW) at 9:30 AM!

Around the Country:

Women are marching in solidarity on state capitols across the nation, too! Find out where to march in your state here!
